Job summary

Senior Helpers is hiring caring individuals in Southern New Hampshire (Portsmouth, Dover, Hampton, Nashua, Salem, Manchester) to provide non-medical in-home care. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules and requires US work authorization.

You’ll receive competitive pay starting at $19.00+ per hour, opportunity for growth, and supportive office staff. Training is provided through our Center of Excellence to help you grow as a caregiver.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have graduated high school or equivalent and be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have 1+ years of caregiving experience.
• Being a PCA, HHA, LNA, or CNA is a huge plus.
• Must have your own vehicle and liability insurance.
• Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month required.
• Ability to listen, understand instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Dependable, trustworthy, honest, and compassionate.
• A genuine desire to help others and serve your community.
• Comfortable using technology, including mobile apps, texting, email, and on-line training platforms.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in clients’ hobbies (scrapbooking, cooking, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy
• Assist clients with walking, dressing, and activities of daily living
• Report activities and client condition updates
