Job summary

Seniornest Homecare in New Jersey is seeking compassionate CHHA and CNA caregivers for live-in and hourly roles in Paterson and throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties. You will be supported by a Registered Nurse with over 35 years of hands-on patient care experience.

Qualifications

Current New Jersey CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
At least 6 months of caregiving experience (facility or home care).
Current PPD test (within the last 12 months) and MMR vaccination record.
Ability to read and follow a care plan and complete ADLs safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs per care plan.
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes.
Assist with light housekeeping related to client care (tidying, laundry, meal assistance) as directed by the care plan.
Follow the client’s individualized care plan and communicate changes in condition to the office or supervising nurse.
Maintain a safe, clean environment and use appropriate infection control and PPE procedures.
