Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to support patients in their homes, delivering personal care, household assistance, and daily living support. You will document visits and report patient changes to the supervising RN, ensuring compassionate, compliant care across shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, current CPR, valid driver’s license, and ongoing in-service training. Flexible scheduling available across days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• A Home Health Aide must complete at least 12 hours of in-service training during each 12-month period.

Responsibilities

• Provide services ordered by the physician in the plan of care within state scope.
• Document medical care and vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Assist with activities of daily living and meal preparation.
• Help patient maintain personal hygiene and household management.
• Complete and coordinate all required documentation for visits and reports.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN supervisor.
