Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Edmond, OK to provide in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and independence, with support from a local franchise network.

You will perform ADL assistance, mobility support, vital sign checks, and routine care tasks, while maintaining professional, empathetic communication and a positive, respectful attitude with clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months CNA experience in healthcare settings and completion of a state CNA course.
• Competency evaluation meeting state home health licensing standards is required.
• Sympathetic attitude toward patient care is essential.
• Current CPR certificate is recommended
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for work or transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, bathing, dressing) and provide supportive care.
• Assist with mobility, ambulation, transfers, and measurement of intake/output.
• Take vital signs and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with prescribed dietary needs and meal preparation.
• Assist with basic wound care, ostomy care, and reinforcing dressings as instructed.
• Provide compassionate companionship and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
