Job summary

Purpose Care is seeking qualified Home Health Aides to serve the Xenia Ohio area and surrounding counties. We need dependable, honest caregivers to support clients with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year.
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must complete a written Competency evaluation.
• Must complete a skills assessment.
• Able to independently lift 25lbs.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrate patience and good personal hygiene.
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including baths, showers, bed baths and sponge baths.
• Assisting with oral hygiene, shampoos, dressing/undressing and grooming.
• Assisting with toileting, keeping living area clean and orderly.
• Doing patient laundry, cleaning and meal preparations.
