Job summary

Reliacare LTD is seeking a compassionate part-time caregiver to support clients in Illinois with mobility, personal care, and daily living activities. You will assist with medication reminders, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship, while maintaining safety and dignity at all times.

The role requires patient communication, reliability, and adherence to health standards. A valid driver’s license is required, and prior home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driver's License required.
• Proven experience as a caregiver and knowledge of CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reminding clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assisting clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene.
• Helping with physical therapy exercises.
• Planning and preparing meals with client input.
• Shopping for clients or accompanying them shopping.
• Performing light housekeeping duties.
• Providing a pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Reporting any unusual incidents.
• Acting quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
