Visiting Angels Sumter, SC is hiring Part Time Home Health Aides (HHA) to support clients throughout the Midlands, including Sumter and surrounding towns. Join a caring team offering flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship, following each client’s plan. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, strong communication, and First Aid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid/emergency response training is required or provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management and multi-tasking abilities are required.
• Reliable transportation to client homes is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
