Job summary

Amada Senior Care North Shore is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist clients in their daily living activities in Highwood, Illinois. The Caregiver will support clients with personal care, meal preparation, and emotional companionship while monitoring their health. This position offers flexible scheduling, part-time and full-time opportunities, and benefits including health insurance for full-time employees. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience or equivalent in caregiving required.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card required.
• Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health status.

Skills

Experience in assisted living or senior care environments

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively

Proficiency in caregiving techniques
