Job summary

Senior Lifecare and Family Agency LLC is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs), CNAs, and HHAs to provide quality in-home care for seniors in Fredericksburg, VA. Work location is in-person with flexible full-time or part-time opportunities.

Candidates with or without prior caregiving experience are welcome; high school diploma or GED preferred. Current PCA/CNA/HHA certification is a plus, CPR a bonus. Training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• No prior caregiving experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Current PCA, CNA, or HHA certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, professional, and punctual.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Physically able to perform caregiving duties including lifting and mobility assistance.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.
• Light housekeeping: laundry, tidying, and safe environment maintenance.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using safe techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services.
• Follow agency policies and HIPAA regulations.
