Choice Home Health Monterey is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to join our Monterey team. This part‑time role supports one‑on‑one patient care in the home, with a focus on compassionate, professional service and precise documentation.

Qualifications include California CHHA certification, CPR, a valid driver’s license and vehicle for patient visits, and reliable, timely scheduling. We offer competitive pay and a people‑first culture.

Qualifications

• Must have vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Current California CHHA certification required.
• Current CPR card.
• Documentation to verify work eligibility in the U.S.
• Report to work in a timely manner and adhere to schedule changes.
• Able to provide two verifiable references.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as directed on aide care plan and document observations.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition to Supervising Clinician.
• Assist the patient in ADLs as directed on care plan.
• Communicate patient’s supply needs to Supervising Clinician or Health Care team.
• Display professional behavior at all times.
• Comply with HIPAA and corporate compliance programs.
• Document thoroughly and accurately in agency format.
• Provide companionship and patient care as directed on care plan.
• Help patients and families understand instructions from medically trained staff.
