Job summary

ACCESSIBLE HOMECARE SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our home care team in an in-person, part-time role. You will support Clients in their homes, assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment under the guidance of registered nurses and healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate has CPR/First Aid, experience in critical or long-term care, knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA, and the ability to provide

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in critical or long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA regulations.
• Familiarity with caregiving techniques for individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer’s disease.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to Clients.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for Clients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document Client care activities accurately.
• Communicate effectively with Clients, families, and healthcare team members regarding Client needs and changes in condition.
• Support Clients with medication reminders.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills in areas such as dementia care, hospice care, and critical care experience.
