Job summary
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors in Cummington, MA and surrounding communities. Roles include PCA, HHA, CNA, or Homemaker, with flexible shifts and opportunity to start a rewarding career in caregiving.
New caregivers can receive free training, with pay ranging from $18 to $20 per hour based on experience and qualifications. We offer 8–12 hour shifts, day, overnight, and weekend options to fit your life.
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Professional and respectful.
- Able to communicate clearly in English.
- Organization and time management; committed to client safety and confidentiality.
- Able to provide reliable transportation.
- HHA or CNA certification is welcome when applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals based on client preferences and dietary needs.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run essential errands and grocery shopping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Observe clients and report changes to supervisor.
- Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home.
- Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.
