Job summary
One You Love Homecare Rockwall - Heath is seeking caring caregivers to provide non-medical home care to clients in their own homes. You will offer companionship, daily living assistance, mobility support, and light housekeeping to help clients stay independent and safe.
Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, weekends, overnights), competitive wages, and benefits including PTO, holidays, and education support.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving or home care preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; insurance if required for client transport.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Stay awake and alert to the client's needs during night shifts.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
- Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
- Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Remind clients to take medication.
- Clock in/out and document all tasks.
