Job summary

ABI Resources in Connecticut is seeking compassionate home care aides to support clients recovering from brain injury, stroke and TBI, providing in‑home care and community-based services.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, scheduling and attending medical and therapeutic appointments, light housekeeping, shopping, cooking, and mobility while upholding safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with disabilities preferred.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Be at least 18 years of age; present verifiable experience letter.
• Drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene and dressing assistance.
• Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Assist with shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
• Support consistent exercise, socialization and entertainment.
• Ensure client safety at all times.
