Job summary

Avenues Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Care Caregivers to assist elderly and vulnerable clients in the Chattanooga area. You will perform ADL support, meal prep, transportation, and companionship, guided by a client plan of care.

Responsibilities include medication assistance, daily reporting, and maintaining safety and confidentiality. Valid CNA license or equivalent experience is preferred, with reliable transportation and a TL requirement for shifts.

Qualifications

• Caregivers must maintain schedule and communicate effectively with clients and supervisor.
• Must have CNA license or equivalent caregiver experience; CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living as per plan of care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Provide medication assistance, housekeeping, meals, transportation, and companionship.
• Report daily activity to supervisor via management system and logs.
• Follow client care plans and schedule, ensuring safety and confidentiality.
• Maintain proper documentation and communicate changes in condition.
