Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide non-medical home care and homemaking services, enabling clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes. You will follow the established care plan, maintain safety, and report changes to the supervisor.

This role requires a valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, flexibility for scheduling, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods in clients’ homes.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs as needed during visits.
• Must comply with HIPAA, policies, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance services per the service plan to help the client function at home.
• Follow the service plan and report changes to the supervisor.
• Be flexible for scheduling and participate in an On-Call rotation.
• May include weekends as needed.
• Ensure safety measures and hazard prevention throughout visits.
• Accurately chart and read client records.
