Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide light housekeeping, personal care, and meal services in clients’ homes across El Paso County. You will support clients with daily tasks, maintain accurate records, and participate in trainings. A positive, professional attitude and ability to adapt to changing needs are essential.

Pay is $17 per hour with opportunities like DailyPay and paid sick time. Must be able to pass background checks; 6 months of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience providing homemaker or personal care services.
• Colorado driver’s license preferred but not required.
• Must be flexible and professional at all times.
• Ability to relate professionally to fellow employees and program participants.
• Criminal background check and willingness to submit to random drug screenings is required.
• Geriatric, medical and/or home-care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and cleaning.
• Assist with personal care tasks like dressing, bathing and grooming as needed.
• Maintain client records and complete timekeeping in ClearCare.
• Communicate with supervisors and respond to changes in the client’s home.
• Adhere to confidential handling of client information and maintain professional appearance.
