Job summary

Visiting Angels of Jackson is hiring a Patient Care Aide (PCA) to support local clients in the community. You will provide compassionate in-home care, help with daily activities, and promote dignity while allowing seniors to remain at home.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, strong communication, ability to pass background check and drug screen, and training in First Aid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time-management and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits and a heart for helping seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping and meal preparation in collaboration with clients.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise goals and take medications on time.
• Help with shopping or groceries and plan meals with clients.
• Assist with mobility and accompany clients to appointments and walks.
• Report health changes promptly and follow safety protocols.
