Job summary

Eminence Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Maryland to join our team. You will provide direct in-home care and support to patients, helping them with daily activities and ensuring dignified, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, companionship, meal prep, and light housekeeping. A valid driver’s license and immunizations are required; LMS risk mitigation included.

Qualifications

• Experience as Personal Care Aide or similar preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Immunizations up-to-date and TB test negative.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently with team guidance.
• Excellent bedside manner when interacting with health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning).
