Job summary

Quality Home Staffing / Community Based Home Care is seeking Personal Care Attendants to provide ADLs and IADLs in clients' homes, following each care plan and organization policies. You will report changes to the RN Field Supervisor, maintain timely attendance, and follow infection control procedures.

A professional appearance and reliable transportation are required. This role emphasizes compassionate, client-centered support and adherence to scheduled tasks, with opportunities to assist

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Criminal history check compliant with agency policy.
• No finding on NC Health Care Registry per policy.
• Experience in Home and Community Based Services preferred.
• Current TB skin test.
• Punctuality.
• Desire to help those at home.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Reliable transportation and proof of current automobile insurance.
• Ability to demonstrate competence providing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Provide services as assigned by the RN Field Supervisor per care plan.
• Report deviations in a client’s condition to the appropriate agency personnel.
• Deliver services during the assigned schedule for each client.
• Accurately report time and attendance via timesheets or EVV as required.
• Maintain infection control practices and wear PPE as required.
• Dress professionally and wear nametag at all times.
• Be present for Supervisory Visits by RN Field Supervisor.
