Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Arlington, TX seeks a dependable caregiver to support an elderly client in a calm home setting. Two 12-hour shifts weekly (7am–7pm) provide consistent, meaningful daily interaction with a focus on safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping. CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving or home-care aide experience.
• Ability to work two long shifts consistently.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Comfort working independently in a private home.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene support.
• Mobility assistance and fall-prevention support.
• Meal preparation and hydration monitoring; assist with feeding if needed.
• Medication reminders and basic tracking (no medical administration).
• Offer companionship and engage in light activities; maintain daily routine.
