Job summary

Comfort Care Home Inc in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a compassionate PCA/Nurse Assistant to join our caregiving team and support residents with daily living activities and personalized care.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, and safety, while monitoring health status and reporting changes to supervising staff. A CNA/PCA credential is preferred and a valid driver's license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current PCA certification or CNA credential preferred.
• Experience in home care or clinical setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
• Reliable, punctual and confidentiality maintained.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Must pass a background check in Minnesota state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
• Assist clients with mobility.
• Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervising nursing staff.
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional needs.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed care plans.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well‑being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
