Visiting Angels Bryan, TX is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Aide (PCA) to support seniors in Central Texas, including Caldwell, Bryan and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible scheduling, both full-time and part-time options, and a variety of in-home and facility shift opportunities to fit client needs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time-management skills are essential.
• Reliable transportation to client visits is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Basic housekeeping and cooking tasks familiarity is expected.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with shopping and groceries as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients based on abilities.
• Assist with mobility and accompany clients to doctor visits or walks.
