Job summary

Right at Home East Bay is currently hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers and Home Care Aides to serve clients throughout the Diablo Valley and surrounding East Bay communities, including Concord, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Danville, San Ramon, and nearby areas.

We have a variety of shifts available and are seeking caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Register with the state as an HCA and pass background check and TB test.
• Eligible to work in the United States and provide employment verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with light homemaking, laundry, and meal planning.
• Monitor and remind about medications.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with dementia or Parkinson’s care as needed.
• Provide client transportation and help with errands.
• Supervise to prevent falls and accidents.
