Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have completed a written competency evaluation.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of clients and ability to handle job demands.
• Read, write, speak and understand English; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with homemaking activities such as vacuuming, cleaning, laundry and dishes.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities and walks.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with grocery errands as needed.
• Spend less than 20% of time on general household tasks; build partner relationships with clients.
