Home Helpers Home Care of San Mateo County is hiring experienced Caregivers, Home Care Aides (HCA), CNAs, and HHAs with reliable transportation to provide compassionate in-home senior care throughout San Mateo County. If you enjoy helping seniors remain safe, active, and independent at home and in the community, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• California HCA registration or willingness to obtain.
• Current TB test negative or willing to complete before starting.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Professional caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Toileting and incontinence care.
• Safe transfers and mobility assistance.
• Dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
• Parkinson’s care.
• Hospice and end-of-life support.
• Medication reminders.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Transportation for seniors to medical appointments, grocery stores, errands, and community activities.
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Helping clients maintain independence and quality of life.
• Providing safe, respectful, one-on-one in-home care.
