Job summary

Better In Home Care in Glendale, CA is seeking a dedicated Home Care Aide for one-on-one in-home support. Full-time and part-time roles across Glendale, Burbank, and Pasadena offer meaningful, client-centered care.

You’ll provide daily living assistance, help with mobility, and monitor health needs, while keeping homes safe and comfortable. Prior home care experience and a California HCA/CNA credential are preferred, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Current HCA or CNA certification in California.
• At least 1 year of paid home care experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR certification (or willingness to earn within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Personalized Daily Living Assistance – Safely transfer clients, support bathing/grooming, and help with mobility devices.
• Healthy Home Environment – Change linens, do light laundry, and keep living areas clean and hazard-free.
• Medication & Wellness Checks – Provide timely reminders and record observations.
• Mind-Body Engagement – Read aloud, reminisce, or guide exercises on their PT/OT handout to keep clients alert and active.
• Detailed Reporting – Document care notes and promptly share changes with your Care Supervisor.
