Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their own homes across Norfolk and Suffolk Counties. You will follow care plans, provide daily living assistance, and help maintain safety and well-being for clients in a respectful, cheerful environment.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification or relevant caregiving experience.
• Proficiency in English and clear communication.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered care.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans.
• Home care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise, or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals to ensure clients have tasty and healthy options.
• Provide medication reminders as part of client care; training will be provided.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities to brighten each day.
• Show enthusiasm for helping others and a proactive attitude toward excellent care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes.
• Occasionally transport clients to appointments or errands and track miles reimbursed.
• Demonstrate dedication to clients and respect for the team and agency.
