Job summary

Sterling Home Care Llc is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to support patients in their homes under one-on-one care plans. You will perform daily activities, monitor health, and report changes to the supervisor while building trusting relationships with clients.

You should be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate clearly. Prior home health or hospice experience is a plus; a valid driver’s license and CPR certification are required to ensure safe, reliable visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year prior professional experience required.
• Driver’s license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Give medications and immunizations.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
