Job summary

ANGEL CARE HOME COMPANION SERVICES is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to provide personalized care to patients in their homes in Atlantic City, NJ. You will assist with daily activities, maintain patient records, and engage with patients to promote their mental health. Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, completion of a Home Health Aide program, and CPR certification. Competitive salary and flexible schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.
• Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, etc.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home.
• Maintain records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients to help keep them mentally healthy.
• Give medications and immunizations.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
