Qualifications

• Must meet applicable California requirements for the position.
• Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or ability to complete registration before providing care.
• Successful completion of background checks and Live Scan.
• Required tuberculosis clearance.
• Orientation and training completion.
• Ability to communicate to understand client care plans, safety instructions, and job information.
• Reliable reporting to assigned client locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and supervision.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Provide medication reminders within scope of position.
• Document services provided accurately.
• Use company-approved technology for scheduling and timekeeping.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and care team.
