Job summary

Caring Hands United in Georgia is hiring compassionate home care caregivers to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently at home. You will provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and monitor health.

Eligibility includes high school diploma, 18+, 6+ months healthcare experience preferred, CPR/First Aid, background check, and valid driver's license with auto insurance; training available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 6+ months experience in healthcare or home care preferred
• Pass criminal history check and a drug screening
• Willing to clock in/out using electronic verification systems
• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• TB/PPD
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Auto Insurance

Responsibilities

• Personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assistance with activities of daily living such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Participates in recreational and social activities
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report client health and safety issues, observe and document behavior
• May accompany clients to appointments
