Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist two elderly Veterans at their home in Menlo, IA. The role focuses on bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking to help them stay independent.

The position is long-term, 5 shifts per week with a flexible schedule once agreed. Compensation is $27 per hour, comprised of a $23 base rate plus a $4 bonus when all assigned shifts are completed in the pay period. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• Background check will be performed.
• TB skin test is required if not on file.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to help two elderly Veterans stay independent at home.
• Provide in-home personal care in Menlo, IA as part of long-term care.
