Job summary

The Home Health Aide (HHA)/CNA - Hospice & Home Health - FT at Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System provides direct patient care and supportive personal care under licensed nursing supervision, following the patient’s plan of care.

Successful completion of an approved HHA program in Kansas is required; current HHA certification in Kansas; BLS/CPR within 30 days; valid Kansas driver’s license; and access to the comprehensive Total Rewards Program with benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) program in Kansas.
• Current Kansas HHA certification; CNA honed as needed.
• BLS/CPR within 30 days of hire; valid Kansas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and supportive personal care per care plan.
• Document care and communicate with hospice team and family.
• Follow privacy regulations and maintain PHI security.
• Assess patient needs and report changes timely to the team.
