Job summary

Dial-a-Nurse in Florida is seeking Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants for clients in Estero. Join an established agency with 40+ years of experience; compassionate and reliable caregivers are needed to start immediately.

You will provide in-home care, assist with medications, mobility, meals, and vital signs; you may transport to appointments; flexible day/evening shifts; weekly pay, direct deposit, and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Caring and compassionate personality

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in the patient's residence
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany patients to doctor offices or hospital - if needed
• Assist with prescribed medications
• Assist with the client's personal care
• Monitor and report the patient's vital signs, (temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises if needed
• Meal preparations
• Provide companionship and basic emotional support

Skills

Home Health Aide / CNA experience

Nutrition awareness

English proficiency

Caring / compassionate personality

Education

HHA Certification or CNA License

CPR Certification (AHA / Red Cross)

HIV/AIDS certificate
