Visiting Angels in Chicopee, MA is seeking compassionate CNAs, HHAs, CHHHAs, or PCAs to care for a homebound elder with mobility challenges. The role offers 8‑hour shifts, with part-time or full-time options, featuring a supportive team, family-oriented culture, and opportunities for advancement.

We welcome candidates with Hoyer lift experience, 1–3 years of eldercare, and reliable transportation who value compassionate, respectful care in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Hoyer lift experience required.
• 1–3 years professional eldercare experience.
• At least 2 professional references (not friends).
• Fluent English.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to submit to criminal background checks.
• Willing to accept 1 shift every other weekend.
• Compassionate character.

Responsibilities

• Assist a homebound elder in a rehab facility aiming to return home.
• Provide personal care and feeding assistance as needed.
• Operate Hoyer lift and ensure safety.
• Maintain client comfort and dignity.
• Coordinate with family for schedules.
