Job summary

Alden Gardens of Waterford is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to perform routine cleaning and sanitation in accordance with facility policies. You will support residents, maintain safety standards, and work under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include following schedules, assisting with in-service programs, and contributing to a positive atmosphere while upholding infection control and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English clearly.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Must relate well with residents, families, and staff.
• Must work harmoniously with other personnel and maintain a cheerful disposition.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping schedules and policies.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment for residents.
• Assist in infection control and universal precautions.
• Report accidents or incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
