PruittHealth is seeking a Housekeeper HCC to provide cleaning services that ensure a safe, sanitary, comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors. Duties follow facility policies and state/federal regulations to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Essential tasks include cleaning floors, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitation, window care and dusting, with attention to infection control and safe ladder use for window drapes. On-the-job training is provided.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services preferred.

Mansioni

• Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors; may spray buff/strip/wax floors per center procedures.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Empties trash and maintains clean receptacles.
• Cleans bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets per procedures.
• Cleans glass surfaces, mirrors, pictures, and windows.
• Cleans behind and underneath furnishings.
• Follows infection control standards during cleaning.
• Prevents/removes wax and dirt buildup in corners and baseboards.
• Changes soiled privacy curtains and draperies for outside windows as needed.
• Removes and re-hangs curtains/draperies for outside windows using a ladder.
• Dusts and damp-cleans surfaces in patient/resident rooms.
• Moves furniture to clean behind/underneath per procedures.
