Job summary

Caring Place Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper at Lodge Retirement Community in Cincinnati, OH. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour. Your work will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, laundry assistance, and following infection control and safety guidelines. Previous healthcare housekeeping is preferred; applicants must be 18+ with at least a 10th grade education.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 10th grade education required.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform carpet cleaning as needed.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces such as furniture, countertops, sinks, toilets, and showers.
• Clean walls, windows, mirrors, vents, elevators, and stairways as needed.
• Dispose of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with facility policies.
• Restock housekeeping and sanitation supplies throughout the facility.
• Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and clothing.
• Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to leadership.
• Support residents during mealtimes by assisting with trays and observing/reporting concerns.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain a calm, respectful, and caring environment for residents and team members.
• Participate in required trainings, in-services, and team meetings.
