Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with elderly population preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in daily resident interactions.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple customers.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure menus and place settings are on tables.
• Prepare wait station and complete opening side work.
• Stock and assemble condiments, dry goods, and service items.
• Organize and assemble meal trays for room service.
• Adhere to dietary needs of residents.
• Serve meals in a professional manner.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness per guidelines.
• Complete closing side work as assigned.
