Job summary

Extended Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve meals according to planned menus in a healthcare facility. The role requires collaboration with the dietary team and adherence to OBRA, federal, state, and other regulatory standards while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

The position is Full-time with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays, daily pay, and special employee perks. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Cook in a healthcare environment (preferred).
• Ability to collaborate with dietary team and maintain a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve daily meals in accordance with resident dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, ensuring sanitation and safety regulations.
• Assist in setting up the tray line and ensure timely delivery of meal trays to patient areas.
• Work in the dish room and maintain high sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and team members to ensure meal satisfaction.
