Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Burnie is looking for a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) to join our team on site. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and document care while collaborating with the nursing team to maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland GNA Certification required.
• Experience as a GNA in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, reposition, and transfer residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care.
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Work closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to provide outstanding resident care.
• Treat every resident with dignity, respect, and compassion.
