Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR seeks an experienced funeral director to lead all aspects of funeral services, coordinate staff, and ensure compassionate support for families.

The role includes directing arrangements, transporting and dressing the deceased, and liaising with cemeteries and clergy; state licensure is required; the position offers a stable full-time schedule.

Formación

• Education or experience: High school diploma plus additional training.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures and regulations; write reports and respond to questions.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Reasoning Ability: Problem solving with varied situations.
• Other Skill and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of funeral service, embalming, cosmetology, and office procedures.
• Other Requirements: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills; state license as funeral home director; valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules, organizes and directs all aspects of a funeral including: flowers, pallbearers, minister, order of service, cars, music, etc.
• Counseling families about merchandise, obituaries, and assisting with grief
• Assists with the sale of prearranged funerals and liaises with the sales force
• Cares for clerical and records related to funeral operations
• Transports bodies as needed and aids in dressing and cosmetics for viewing
• Transports deceased to out-of-state locations when required
• Assists in keeping the funeral home ready to receive families and the public
