Everstory Partners in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a Funeral Director/Embalmer for a part-time role. You will meet with families, arrange services, and oversee embalming and service logistics.

This empathetic professional will guide clients through options, coordinate pallbearers, and ensure paperwork, permits, and transportation are handled with care. A licensed funeral director/embalmer is required; availability for holidays and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a licensed funeral director and 2 years of post‑secondary education.
• Must be a licensed funeral director and embalmer or the ability to obtain a state license; the ability to obtain any additional licensing required by the state.
• Graduated from an accredited school of embalming or mortuary science.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to arrange funerals, explain options, pricing, and contracts.
• Perform embalming services.
• Finalize arrangement details with required documentation.
• Direct funeral services and coordinate pallbearers and clergy.
• Prepare permits, death certificates, and related paperwork.
• Transport deceased from home or hospital to the funeral home.
• Maintain cleanliness of preparation areas and equipment.
• Contribute to other related duties as assigned.
