Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science.
• Current Funeral Director and Embalmer dual license within the practicing state.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Industry experience is preferred.
• Cognitive ability to reason, plan, and solve problems.
• Proficient in professional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Arrangements Conference with families, discuss needs, and schedule appointments.
• May perform removals or transfers and update status in proprietary software.
• Present cemetery property, pricing, and contracts after conference and coordinate service details.
• Preside as Master of Ceremonies for visits and services, ensuring professional conduct.
• Oversee event planning tasks such as music, flowers, catering, and memorials.
• Prepare and embalm as required, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
