Job summary

CareCore at Meadows in Dayton, OH is seeking a dependable Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will clean rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate laundry equipment.

This full-time role requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow safety protocols. Training will be provided, and cross-training in housekeeping and laundry is available to support the team.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, but not required, training will be provided.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens in accordance with safety and infection control guidelines
• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment
• Sort, fold, and distribute clean linens and personal clothing
• Maintain supply levels and ensure cleaning carts are stocked and organized
• Follow all safety protocols and facility policies
• Cross-train and assist in both housekeeping and laundry departments as needed
