Job summary

Bristol Health is seeking a Per Diem Food Service Assistant at the BHI Bristol Hospital Main Campus in Bristol, CT 06010. You will assemble and deliver patient trays, load/unload trays, work in the dish room, and prepare nourishments for patients, supporting timely meal service and sanitation throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include following daily menus, maintaining clean stations, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met; flexibility for staffing needs is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is desired but not necessary.
• Food handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles food items and delivers patient trays according to daily allotments.
• Cleans and sanitizes the work area after tray assembly and service.
• Transports trays to serving areas and sets up stations with proper utensils.
• Operates dishwasher when needed and assists in other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates dependability by following directions and supporting the team.
