Job summary

Maple Manor Christian Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Indiana to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents and staff.

You will clean resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, and offices, stock closets, and coordinate with laundry staff to care for linens and personal items daily. The role requires kindness, patience, and physical endurance. HS diploma preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to observe individual needs and respond with care.
• Provide service to residents with kindness and patience.
• High school education or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Good physical condition and emotional maturity.
• Family obligation must not hinder job stability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the entire facility in a clean, neat, sanitary, and orderly fashion.
• Clean residents' rooms, hallways, activity areas, offices, restrooms, dining room, entryways and visitation rooms; report problems to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Responsible for stocking and keeping housekeeping closets clean and neat.
• Laundry is handled by staff; assist with linens and residents' personal items daily.
