Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of housekeeping areas.
• Follow HIPAA and infection control practices.
• Able to lift and move supplies; follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow work and cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Report accidents and incidents to your supervisor promptly.
• Attend in-service educational classes and training programs as scheduled.
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions and cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas.
• Ensure proper use of safety equipment and proper storage of supplies.
