Job summary

Positive Employment is recruiting a Personal Carer for a private care client based in London. The role requires compassionate, patient care to an elderly individual, assisting with daily routines and general wellbeing while upholding dignity and comfort.

This permanent position offers Monday to Friday work with three visits per day: 08:00-09:00, 12:00-13:00 and 17:00-18:00. DBS check and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care are preferred; Punjabi language skills are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care or personal carer role.
• Enhanced DBS certificate.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Ability to treat client with dignity, respect and sensitivity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care to an elderly client.
• Assist with personal hygiene, washing, dressing and grooming.
• Support daily routines and wellbeing.
• Maintain dignity, privacy and independence at all times.
• Communicate effectively with family and care professionals.
• Follow care plans, health, safety and safeguarding procedures.
